BOG champs to face Lautoka in VPL

THE 2018 Inkk Mobile Battle of the Giants Champion, Ba, has little time to waste as they will face Lautoka in the Vodafone Premier League (VPL) this weekend.

The Ronil Kumar coached side will now turn its focus on the VPL as they aim to qualify to the next season’s OFC Champions League.

The Men in Black face Lautoka at 3pm this Sunday at Govind Park.

In other matches beginning at the same time, Rewa plays Tavua at Ratu Cakobau Park in Nausori while Nadi hosts Suva at Prince Charles Park.

In a midweek match, Labasa and Dreketi battle it out at Subrail Park at 7pm next week Wednesday.

Lautoka leads the VPL standings with 21 points followed by Suva on 16 points while Rewa is on 13.

Ba is in fourth place with 12 points one ahead of Nadi and Labasa.

Dreketi has seven points while Tavua sits at the bottom of the standings with five points.

The top two teams in the competition qualify for next seasons OFC Champions League.
