Water situation: Rewa areas alerted on disrupted supply

Listen to this article:

RESIDENTS in parts of Rewa are advised to expect low water pressure to intermittent supply from 8pm tomorrow until Friday morning.

The Water Authority of Fiji (WAF) says the interruption in supply is a result of the installation of Khrone Meters at Dibulu.

Areas expected to be affected include Lokia, Naililili, Waivou, Drekena, Muana Settlement, Lokia Village, Vutia, Burebasaga Village, Nukutubu Village, Waivou, Nasali Landing, Lomanikoro, and the Delta area.

Residents are advised to store and use water wisely for their immediate needs during this temporary disruption period.

Water carts will be on standby to service the areas as and when the need arises.

The authority says that water supply is expected to be restored from 6am on Friday, July27.
