FARMERS in the Northern Division that are yet to receive their materials following Tropical Cyclone Josie have been advised to seek assistance from the Senior Agricultural Officers.

Principal Agriculture Officer North Paula Tuione said farmers could also address their plights with the provincial offices that would address farmers who were yet to receive their materials and other assistance.

“We are aware that the cards will automatically become invalid at the end of this month but we are urging farmers to visit their nearest agriculture office of provincial office as soon as possible,” Mr Tuione said.

Worried farmers in Macuata are seeking intervention from Government to extend the validity of their TC Josie assistance card, which expires by the end of this month.
