The Ba football side beat Navua 2-1 to start its 2023 Digicel Fiji FACT campaign on a high.

Goals from Fazil Ali and Jonetani Newa in each half gave Ba a handy 2-nil lead early in the second spell.

Jared Rongosulia pulled one back for Navua in the 76th minute but it was a little too late for the southerners.
