KPMG signs lease for new office as part of expansion plans

Following the 2022 announcement of KPMG Fiji’s plans for a significant expansion of its local operations, partner-in-charge of KPMG’s South Pacific practice Michael Yee Joy has confirmed that work on the new premises in Martintar, Nadi is progressing well.

“Late last year we signed a lease for KPMG Nadi’s brand-new office complex with three floors to house our partners, staff and client visitors,” said Mr Joy.

“We are excited that upon completion, set for late April 2023, this will be one of Fiji’s most advanced and sophisticated professional services facilities.”

KPMG Nadi will move from its current Nadi offices to the ‘Star One’ KPMG Building on Queen’s Rd. The fitout is reportedly being designed and delivered by leading local architecture firm, Lautoka based Habitat Designs Ltd working alongside KPMG Australia’s director of workplace services.

Managing partner KPMG Fiji Lisa Apted said, “The design is very modern and includes strong sustainability features.

We are focused on delivering key areas to enhance a positive working experience, including our delivery centre – KPMG Fiji Dynamix (FDX) – collaboration zones, staff floors, wellbeing and breakout areas, and a Prayer Room.

There will also be a client floor with meetings rooms on Level Four and a rooftop terrace offering outdoor facilities for staff and clients.

” KPMG Fiji has been on a growth fast-track since integrating with the KPMG Australian Enterprise practice in July 2021. From July 1, 2021, both Fiji and PNG joined KPMG Australia as a combined South Pacific Practice with the integration reportedly having been very successful so far.
