Father to joyful seven-year-old Destiny Grace, Paula Bosewaqa, shares how his only daughter will be in the third grade this year.

“Me and my wife decided not to apply for the $200 back to school government assistance because we thought that it would be better to provide for her ourselves,” he said.

Mr Bosewaqa praises his daughter for being a school prefect for two years now and for always doing well in her studies.

“It’s always good to see our kids happy,” he said.

“Our budget for this school shopping is around $200 to $250 so with that I’m hoping to get the best for our daughter.

“When our kids go to school and do well it makes parents like us so proud. It’s important for children to know that they have our support throughout.

“My daughter’s school is just a walking distance from our house so I feel safe whenever I drop her at school.

” It’s good to know that she attends one of the best schools in Lautoka.”
