New fuel prices effective from tomorrow; consumers set to fork out more

New fuel and LPG prices come into effect from tomorrow with consumers set to fork out more for motor spirit, kerosene and diesel.

The new prices have been determined by the Fijian Competition and Consumer Commission (FCCC) for Unleaded Petrol, Premix, Kerosene, Diesel, and LPG products for July 2022.

New approved Retail Fuel Prices:

  • Motor Spirit – $3.44 per litre (VIP) – increase by 36cents
  • Premix – $3.24 per litre (VIP) – increase of 34cents
  • Kerosene – $2.50 per litre – an increase of 16centrs
  • Diesel – $3.14 per litre (VIP) – increases by 11cents

New Approved Retail LPG Prices

  • 4.5kg Cylinder – $16.71 – decrease by $1.03
  • 12kg Cylinder – $44.56 – a decrease of $2.76
  • Bulk Gas – $3.44 – decrease of 21cents
  • Autogas – $2.30 – decrease by 15cents
