Tickets for next week’s Super Rugby Pacific match between the Fijian Drua and the Chiefs are selling fast.

This is according to the Swire Shipping Fijian Drua chief executive officer Brian Thorburn. He said close to 50 per cent or more than 5000 tickets had been sold.

“We are confident it’s going to be sold out, it’s already half sold a week before the game. If you want to be there then don’t wait too long before getting your tickets from those outlets,” Thorburn said.

He added that majority of the tickets sold already were the platinum and gold seats.

“Majority of tickets are the top two tier tickets while the other ones are also selling out. We are pretty sure that many tickets will be sold out before matchday next Saturday.”

This will be the Fijian Drua’s second match in Fiji, the first on Western soil. The match will mark the end of the Fijian Drua’s first season in Super Rugby Pacific.

The match kicks off at 3pm at Churchill Park in Lautoka on Saturday.
