We have every reason to vote for The People’s Alliance party and the National Federation Party in the 2022 General Election, says Fiji Trades Union Congress national president Daniel Urai.
He made the comment during FTUC’s 49th Biennial Delegates conference in Nadi.
“It is no secret that the only two political parties that have indicated to work together with the intention to form a coalition government are The People’s Alliance party and the NFP,” he said.
Mr Urai urged the various union members that attended the conference to vote wisely.
“Please inform your relatives, families and friends that these are the two political parties that they should vote for.
“These two political parties have publicly announced that they will return all the terminated workers and that they will set things straight for the betterment for the workers of this country.”
Mr Urai said every four years workers and the general public were given the opportunity to choose the type of government that they want.
“Vote for these two parties not for anyone’s sake but for your own sake.
“Grab this opportunity and do the right thing because we owe it to our future generations.”
