Former Kaiviti Silktails captain and Nadera Panthers player Penioni Tagituimua has been given the chance of a rugby league lifetime.

The Bulldogs want to see his skills in the sport and Tagituimua has an opportunity for a shot at the big time with Canterbury Bankstown.

The Fiji Bati player, wwos.nine.com.au reported Bulldogs have signed on with the Bulldogs allowing the 22-year-old to a train and trial contract.

The Rakiraki, Kadavu player has already played three Tests for Fiji and represented the Silktails in the shortened NSW Cup last year.

Compared by many as the nest Api Koroisau in trhe rugby league arena, the report said Tagituimua had been training with the Bulldogs in the pre-season and would be given a chance to show his wares in the trials early next year.

The report said the powerfully built utility had already won over his teammates at the Bulldogs.

“He is a great kid and he never stops smiling,” Bulldogs supremo Phil Gould told Wide World of Sports,” the report said.

“The boys call him ‘Peni’ for short.

“He has a long way to go but we will see how he goes.”
