Fiji Bitter Wairiki 7s: Smoking not allowed at the grounds

Smoking will not be allowed within the sports grounds at Wairiki, during this weeks Fiji Bitter Wairiki Sevens Carnival.

Health officials have agreed with the organising committee that spot fines would be applied to those who are found smoking cigarette or suki.

They agreed  to ban smoking cigarettes for the sake of non smokers who would be at the grounds.

Organising coordinator Ioane Gade said special areas have been identified for smokers.

“They can use these areas but anyone who smokes outside these identified areas is breaking the rule and will be fined.”
