Lawyer Aman Ravindra-Singh has been ordered to serve a copy of his client’s application for judicial review and other supporting documents on the minister and permanent secretary for the Ministry of Employment and the Attorney-General’s Office today.

The matter was called before Chief Justice Kamal Kumar at the High Court in Suva yesterday.

Mr Ravindra-Singh said his client, Vasiti Toga, a former senior investigator with the Fiji Revenue and Customs Service in Nadi was seeking a declaration from the court that the government’s “no jab no job” policy was unconstitutional.

Justice Kumar ordered the service of all documents to the respondents today, they have been given until November 16 to serve their affidavits in opposition.

The applicant has been given until November 30 to reply.

The matter was adjourned and will be called for mention on December 2.
