COVID-19: Fiji registers 180 new cases and 86 recoveries

An alarming 180 new cases of COVID-19 was recorded by the Ministry of Health and Medical Services in the 24 hour period ending at 8am today.

According to the daily update by the ministry there have been 86 recoveries and 1631 active cases in isolation.

“There have been 2200 cases during the outbreak that started in April 2021.

“We have recorded a total of 2270 cases in Fiji since the first case was reported in March 2020.

“There have been 618 recoveries and nine deaths due to COVID-19 in Fiji.”
