Fijiana 7s coach Saiasi Fuli said a target for the side at next week’s Oceania 7s was matching the Black Ferns and Australia’s execution in the abbreviated code and knew it was not an impossible task.

“We have watched these two teams and we have worked on our game accordingly for the last four years,” Fuli said.

“They always play with pace power and precision and this is one area we have found out doing our analysis that when it comes to precision and execution it is top notch.”

Fuli said that was the main area which they had to break in order to come out on top.

“We have to destabilise and pressure that area which is the key component of these two teams.”

Fuli said she knew her girls they were up to the task ahead of them and they needed to replicate the same passion and go one better.

“We have to play to a degree of professional and it may have been lacking in the last few years but we have trained hard and worked on this area to improve for ourselves.”

The Fijiana 7s team take on Australia 7s in their first game in Townsville on Friday.
