A damaging heavy swell warning remains in force for the coastal areas of Southwest Viti Levu, (coastal areas from Natadola through Coral Coast to Pacific Harbour), Southern coastal areas of Mamanuca Group, Beqa, Kadavu, Vatulele, Moala Group and the Southern Lau Group.
The weather bulletin issued from the National Weather Forecasting Centre in Nadi this morning says the forecast to midnight tonight for the Fiji group, expect sea flooding of the coastal areas of southwest Viti Levu, southern coastal areas of Mamanuca group, Beqa, Kadavu, Vatulele, Moala group and the southern Lau group during high tides.
Cloudy periods with brief showers and isolated afternoon and evening thunderstorms over the northern parts of Viti Levu and Vanua Levu.
Fine apart from afternoon or evening showers and thunderstorms elsewhere.
Moderate southwesterly winds with moderate seas.
The outlook for Tuesday, expect sea flooding of the coastal areas of southwest Viti Levu, southern coastal areas of Mamanuca group, Beqa, Kadavu, Vatulele, Moala group and the southern Lau group during high tides.
Cloudy periods with some showers and isolated thunderstorms over most places.
