THE Fiji Gold Nasinu Netball Association is once again being supported by Paradise Beverages Fiji Ltd.
The association received $17,000 from their sponsor as they prepare for their knockout competition which will be held on the 27th of this month.
Speaking on behalf of the association Marica Leweniqila said this sponsorship would boost the morale of the 15 teams that were registered under the association.
“We’re blessed that Paradise Beverages is once again sponsoring us for this year,” she said.
“It has being a tough journey last year because we couldn’t secure their sponsorship due to the pandemic that struck us so we kept going, never gave up and this year we thought to give it a try and we’re glad that they accepted our proposal and were happy with the presentation from our president Linieta Navonu.
“We’re happy to have our major sponsors back with us.”
Paradise Beverages Fiji sales/marketing manager Joe Rodan thanked the association for once again coming to them to once again sponsor their tournament.
“This is the tenth year that we will be sponsoring their tournament and I think over the last 10 years we have seen an improvement in the Nasinu netball.
“Having beaten Suva twice in a row is an achievement and I think that is great because Suva as we know has all the support and all the backing of major companies in Fiji.
“Nasinu has contributed a lot to Fiji Netball on the form of a number of their reps representing the country and have continued to make it to the Fiji team,” Rodan said.
He added that seeing the development done by the association is a bonus to them as major sponsors.
