Seventeen people today graduated with a Diploma in Lay Ministry from the Methodist Lay Training Centre in Davuilevu.
Centre registrar Reverend Iliesa Tagilo said the students also graduated with certificates in fire training from the National Fire Authority and Certificate in Vegetable Farming facilitated by the Taiwanese Technical Mission.
He said in the beginning, there were 31 students and that number dropped to the 17 students that graduated today.
“There are 120 students in this training centre, apart from funding from the church, we have our own farms which caters for the students meals,” Mr Tagilo said.
