The Vodafone Fiji FACT semi-finals and final have been postponed to this weekend.

Fiji Football Association President Rajesh Patel made the announcement in Labasa yesterday morning.

“It is unfortunate due to weather conditions and ground condition we have come to the conclusion the Vodafone Fiji FACT won’t be played this weekend. We will notify by Monday or Tuesday whether we will continue with the tournament in Labasa which we want to do,” he said.

Patel added all further detail will be released early this week.

“We have booked the ground with Labasa Town Council but all further details will be given later when we have a look at the weather in the coming week.”

He said all ticket holders can keep their tickets and use the same one’s for this weekend’s games.

Meanwhile, a number of fans had their tickets money refunded after the postponement of the semi-finals on Saturday.

This was confirmed by Patel who said there were only a handful of people who demanded I and their money was refunded.
