Students of a prominent Tailevu all-boys school which recently made the headlines are expected to meet their new principal today.

This, according to the parent of a senior student who was suspended for allegedly participating in a protest against the former school head.

The parent claimed a senior education official was now acting in the post.

She claimed students were expected to return to classes today.

The parent also said students involved in the alleged protest would “undergo counselling and meet the new school principal” as part of their re-integration process.

The former principal was transferred to another school after students staged a protest at the school last month.

Education Minister Rosy Akbar could not be reached for comments on the issue.
