Suva livewire openside flanker Taniela Sadrugu is relishing the opportunity to represent Fiji on the international stage.
With first choice being given to Skipper Cup players of possibly donning the Flying Fijians jersey in November, Sadrugu has also put his hand up and is doing the hardwork for a spot.
“Local based players have been thrown a lifeline this year,” Sadrugu said.
“To be honest, this year has the possibility to make dreams come true for those who want that white jersey.
“With many overseas based players caught up because of COVID-19, it’s our chance to make it happen.”
The Wailevu in Macuata lad has played in every round of the Skipper Cup so far and is named at the number seven for the third consecutive week.
Suva travel down to Ratu Cakobau Park in Nausori to take on Tailevu at 3pm today.
