Digicel Fiji’s investment in its network upgrades complement government’s investment in the submarine cable and its digital transformation programs.

Chief executive officer Farid Mohammad today announced Digicel’s $30 million investment in terms of network upgrade and data capacity for its customers both on the mainland and the maritime areas.

Mr Farid said the upgrades have allowed Digicel to cater for the increase in demand for data from customers.

“We want to be the digital lifestyle partner for our customers across Fiji. We are on a journey and to realize this we need a network that will support the new offers and products that we are rolling out in the market,” he said.
