As most businesses are being impacted by the  COVID-19 pandemic, there are a few who have taken the risk to get into a new commercial venture.

One such business is “That Food Box Fiji”.

According to the Minister for Commerce, Trade, Tourism and Transport Faiyaz Koya this was an innovative inspiration to those who were looking to start their own business.

“It is actually really good with what is happening around Fiji with respect to the pandemic and etcetera, people are being innovative and coming up with new ideas in terms of how to do business,” he said.

“This is a great example to anybody around Fiji who wants to start a business and this is an innovative way of doing business at the moment.

“The chef here is actually from the tourism industry, as you all know the tourism industry doesn’t exist,” he said while speaking of Nicholas Jordan.

“The chef is an award winning chef who is now employed in this particular place and it a good story to anyone who is involved in the tourism industry that there are other ways of doing business and earning some money.”
