The Fijian Competition and Consumer Commission (FCCC) continues to be vigilant in their inspections and surveillance to expose unscrupulous traders taking advantage of the crisis situation.

Nine more traders were charged by the commission for breach of the FCCC Act 2010 whereby they were found to be selling price-controlled items at an excessive price, false and misleading representation of items and failing to display or mark prices.

FCCC chief executive Joel Abraham said four were based in the Western Division, three in the Central Division and two in the Northern Division.
