KOEN “Malacious Mazoudier proved to0 strong for Vanuatu’s Roy “Tsunami” Ser stopping him in the fifth round to be crowned the Pro Box Pacific Super-welterweight champion at the FMF Gymnasium, Suva over the weekend.
The orthodox slugger proved to strong for his smaller opponent unleashing a barrage of blows in the fifth round that forced referee Justin Kennedy to stop the fight after the onslaught found no reply from Ser.
“I said earlier that I was in Fiji for business,” Mazoudier said.
“All respect to Ser, he is a superb fighter, it was a strong contest but there is only one winner at the end of the day.”
A disappointed Ser thanked the crowd in his native tongue and the large Vanuatu contingent that attended the fight.
