16 young people appointed reps of Fiji Youth Council

SIXTEEN representatives have been selected into the country’s largest youth representative body The Fiji Youth Council.

While officiating at the announcement of the members of the Fiji Youth Council today at the Suva Civic Auditorium in Suva, Minister for Youth and Sports Parveen Kumar reminded the youth participants that their appointments were important.

“It is an appointment that carries with it the hopes and aspirations of not only our youth but our nation,” Mr Kumar said.

“These appointments have been made with a lot of thought and with a view to having onboard youth leaders who can make a difference.”
