Elderly man charged for alleged incestuous rape

A SENIOR citizen will be produced in the Nausori Magistrates Court today on charges relating to alleged incestuous sexual offences.

The 64-year-old is alleged to have sexually offended her 12-year-old granddaughter on several occasions.

Police say the alleged offences were committed between January in 2016 to October this year, before it was reported to the Nausori Police Station.

The man has been charged with five counts of rape and one count of indecent assault.
