Man charged with wife’s murder to appear in court

THE 41‑year‑old man who allegedly murdered his 35‑year‑old wife at Wainikoro in Macuata last Wednesday night will appear in the Labasa Magistrates Court tomorrow.

Earlier, a police statement said that the suspect had been charged with one count of murder

Police spokeswoman Ana Naisoro said the man was arrested from his home at Navoalevu in Daku, Wainikoro, after allegedly committing the gruesome crime in front of his wife’s parents.
