POLICE are requesting information to help identify a man who was involved in an accident this morning.
According to Police spokesperson Ana Naisoro, Totogo Traffic Police need help in identifying the victim of a motor vehicle accident who is now admitted at the Colonial War Memorial Hospital in serious condition.
“The accident occurred along Stinson Parade after 5am this morning,” Ms Naisoro said.
“The victim was allegedly crossing the road when he was bumped by the suspect who rushed him to the hospital after the accident,” she said.
Ms Naisoro said the suspect is being questioned at the Totogo Police Station.
“The victim is an i-taukei male believed to be aged between 30-40years old, slim built and was wearing a pair of ¾ lee shorts and a black t-shirt.
“Please call the Totogo Traffic Officer on 9905915 if you have information that can assist in identifying the victim.”
