WATER supply to some parts of Navua has been disrupted until further notice.
The Water Authority of Fiji (WAF) has attributed this situation to a fault at the Nayagi Clear Water Pump No.1 that resulted in low reservoir levels.
Affected areas include Navua Town, Naitonitoni, Naitata, Vuninokonoko, Sadro Road, Wainidova Road, Deuba, Vunibau Village, Vakabalea, Busa Farm Road, Nasasa and Viwawa Road.
The authority has advised customers residing in those areas to use water wisely for their immediate needs during this temporary disruption period.
Water supply is expected to be gradually normalised once the fault has been rectified.
Customers or residents residing in disrupted areas are to contact the authority’s National Call Centre on 3346777 or 5777, for water carting requests.
