VODAFONE Fiji Bati coach Brandon Costin believes with so much firepower in his back line, his focus would be working on the halves position ahead of this weekend’s Pacific Test Series match against the Lebanon Cedars.

With the injury to Manly Sea Eagles scrum-half Apisai Koroisau, the middle pairing would be an area of concern to cement before tomorrow.

“Traditionally we have never been strong in the halves,” Costin said.

Costin said with Robbie Farah sure to lead the attack for the Cedars, the Bati coach knows the task will not be easy.

“Obviously we need to put in a strategy to tire out their halves as well as strengthen ours.”

With Siti Moceidreke on call with Penioni Tagituimua, and Brandon Wakeham, Costin’s choices in the halves are limited.

“We have to commit to our strengths and ensure we give our 110 per cent.”

The Vodafone Fiji Bulikula take on the PNG Orchids at 5:40pm then the Vodafone Fiji Bati take on the Lebanon Cedars at 7:40pm with Toa Samoa vs PNG Kumuls at 9:55pm at Leichhardt Oval in Sydney.
