479 applications received by Commission for injuries

SINCE January 2018  479 applications have been received by the Accident Compensation Commission Fiji for injuries and deaths resulting from a motor vehicle accident.

This was revealed by ACCF’s case manager Fazlin Nisha while presenting at the Construction Industry Council conference which ended yesterday.

She said 55 applications were approved from out of which 14 were applications for injuries and 41 applications were for deaths resulting from a motor vehicle accident.

“For motor vehicle accidents we started receiving applications from January 1, 2018 so to date we have received a total of 479 applications out of these 411 are for injuries from Motor Vehicle Accidents and 68 are for deaths.”
