RIGIETA Naisake believes issues relating to the environment need to be addressed.

Ms Naisake is using the Vodafone Millennium Sinu Carnival’s platform to do just that.

She is representing Alvin’s Electrical Services at the carnival. Originally from Kalabu Village in Naitasiri, Ms Naisake is among the six contestants vying for the Miss Nasinu title.

“I want to use this platform to advocate on keeping our environment clean because this is an issue that needs to be addressed,” Ms Naisake said. Her advice to young women is to remain humble.

“Always remain humble and never think that you are better than anyone.

“Being the eldest of three siblings, I know I have to be a role model to them so I hope to use this platform for that too.”

Ms Naisake says if she was to meet a prominent figure in life, she would want to meet American singer Jennifer Lopez.
