2018/19 Budget: $20.5m for Fisheries ministry

THE Ministry of Fisheries has been allocated $20.5million.

In his 2018-2019 National Budget address, Minister for Economy Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum said within the budget, Government would develop low cost fish source in Fiji.

He said this would strengthen Fiji’s food security and build up livelihoods by funding existing aquaculture farms to boost their production.
