Kiribati High Commissioner to Fiji presents credentials

KIRIBATI’S new High Commissioner to Fiji David Teaabo recently presented his credentials to the President Jioji Konrote at Borron House.

This after Mr Teaabo inspected a guard of honour mounted by members of the Republic of Fiji Military Forces before presenting his credentials to Mr Konrote.

The envoy who has served as acting first secretary to Kiribati’s High Commission in Fiji since 2013 after which he served as Acting Head of Mission from April to May this year began his career as a Secretary General of Kiribati Red Cross Society in 2004.

He also served as Deputy Executive Director and NGO Development officer Kiribati Association of NGO’s (KANGO) secretariat in 2010.

Mr Teaabo completed his Professional Certificate in Development Diplomacy in 2015 and also graduated with certificate in Project Management from Curtin University, Western Australia in 2007.
