THE National Fire Authority is concerned with the increasing number of fires happening around the country.
This week alone, the NFA attended to four fire incidents at different locations.
Chief fire officer Qionilau Moceitai has reiterated that fire safety is everyone’s responsibility.
He said fire safety precautions should be strictly adhered to at all times to avoid unnecessary fire-related damage to properties.
The authority stated that investigations to ascertain the cause of the four fire incidents were still ongoing.
Meanwhile, out of the four incidents, two occurred in Labasa, one happened in Sigatoka and one in Nausori.
