Vodafone Premier League: Ba star striker to boost side

STRIKER Abbu Zahid is expected to be at his best when his Ba team faces Nadi in the Vodafone Premier League game on Sunday.

The prolific goal scorer was impressive for the men-in-black throughout this season – helping the side to secure the second spot on the overall points table.

Fans will be banking on Zahid and his team mates to produce the goods on their home turf.

“This is the first time after nine months for the Zahid and the boys are able to play again at Govind Park.” Team manager Arvind Singh said.

“The ground is in top condition despite of the damages caused by the cyclone and floods early in the year.

“We expect him to be at his best likewise for all other players.”

Fans are urged to turn out in huge numbers and support the team.

The game kicks off at 3pm.
