DEE CEE’s Nadera Panthers head coach Vula Dakuitoga believes the Vodafone Cup competition only gets harder now after last week’s 12-all draw against the West Fiji Dolphins at the AFL Compound in Nadi see them sharing top position on the table.
“All teams want to take out the top team which at the moment is the Panthers and the Dolphins,” Dakuitoga said.
Both sides maintain their top of the table ranking after going undefeated.
“The onus is on us now to maintain that position,” Dakuitoga said.
He said going undefeated came with a price because it painted a target on their backs and the task was to keep his players aligned to the team’s aim.
Dakuitoga says the Panthers will now shift into the next gear during training this week to maintain their number one ranking this week.
