THE Rovandrau Sanatan Dharam Mandali, based in Navua, celebrated Holi in style today.

Close to 20 members of the mandali took leave from work and joined school kids in the community to mark the festival.

Mandali member Roneel Kumar said that just like previous years, it was a fun-filled day.

“We visited close to 12 houses. It was fun and we sang chautals and ate a lot of sweets and savouries. Holi is an important festival for us as it marks the victory of good over evil,” Mr Kumar said.

Apart from the house to house visits, he said everyone in the community played with colours and made sure no one was left behind.

Just like this cultural group, many others in the country are celebrating the festival of Holi as well today.
