A MAN charged with one count of aggravated robbery was denied bail by the Suva Magistrates Court today.
Setareki Tikomai is alleged to committed the offence on January 30, 2019 in Raiwaqa.
It is alleged that 21-year-old stole $2000 from a shop.
Police Prosecutor Sergeant Gandhi Prasad served full phase disclosures.
Magistrate Liyanage Wickramasekara informed Mr Tikomai to file in notice of alibi within 21 days.
He rejected bail on the basis of the seriousness and gravity of the offence.
Magistrate Wickramasekara transferred the case to the High Court in Suva.
The case has been adjourned to March 27, for plea and bail hearing.
