SAKIASI Karavanua wants to put up a better performance at this year’s Coca-Cola Games.

The Batiki, Lomaiviti lad won gold for Varani House in the senior boys 400 metres finals and is one of the medal prospects of Lelean Memorial School.

Karavanua won gold for Lelean in the Triple N Zone last year and will be gunning for top prize at the Coca-Cola Games.

Karavanua said he had improved in his time from the previous year and hopes his performance improves at the Triple N Zone. “I have noticed an improvement in my time and I am happy about that.

“Last year I got first place in the Triple N Zone but was not successful in the Coca-cola Games, but this year I hope I make a difference in the Cokes,” said Karavanua.

The seventh former dedicated the win to his parents who had been his stronghold during his education.
