Time management an important part of Uni life: Saha

MANAGING your time wisely is an important part of university life.

This was the comment of first Year University of the South Pacific, Pacific TAFE foundation graduate, Sejuti Saha.

The 18-year-old who is a former student of Yat Sen Secondary School said this one year of foundation studies has really assisted her in understanding university life.

Ms Saha was also the recipient of five special awards as the outstanding student in Math, English, Chemistry, Biology and Physics.

She said the most challenging thing for her was learning to prioritise her time as they had a lot of free time.

The very excited student was also enlightened to share that she would be pursuing further education in one of Australia’s renowned universities, the Monarch University in Melbourne.

Ms Saha said she received a four year scholarship to study a Bachelor’s in Environmental Engineering after which she will come back to Fiji to give back to the development of the country.

“I feel science has the power to solve all the environmental problems we face today,” she said.
