Fijiana 15s present their i-tatau

THE Fiji Airways Fijiana 15s rugby team presented their i-tatau today to the President, Jioji Konrote, before their departure for Australia tomorrow.

After 12 months hoping for a tournament, the girls now have the opportunity to showcase their talent when they face the Brumbies women’s side and New Castle in Australia.

Coach Ro Alivereti Doviverata said the girls were excited when they heard about the tour and were ready for the competition.

“The last time we played as a team was back in 2016 and travelling to Australia for two games is something we’ve been looking forward to. I hope more competition is in line for the girls,” Ro Doviverata said.

Fiji will take on the Brumbies on June 11 and New Castle on June 16.
