NEVER allow complacency to take root in our democratic society, President Jioji Konrote urged Fijians in his address to members of Parliament during the opening of Parliament this afternoon.
pMr Konrote noted that a low voter turnout in the November 14 General Election was because of flooding and adverse weather condition.
He said despite these factors Fijians should always exercise their democratic right to vote.
