2018 General Election: Former MP thanks supporters

FORMER Social Democratic Liberal Party (SODELPA) Member of Parliament Semesa Karavaki has acknowledged all his supporters that stood by him during the 2018 General Election.

The outspoken MP among other former MPs who did not make into Parliament after the general election this year.

Mr Karavaki lost 2807 votes this time when compared with the 2014 General Election.

According to the final national results tally, Mr Karavaki garnered only a total of 627 votes when compared with 2014 when he gained 3434 votes.

“Now I will just focus on running my law firm as you all know that I am a lawyer by profession and I am also a farmer, so this is where I will fall back on,” he said.

“I want to thank those people that supported me during the elections and I will always be a supporter of the party.”
