2018 General Election: Hotel worker prefers present voting system

TAKIA Hotel night auditor Diwan Chandra was among the many voters that have turned up so far at the Labasa College polling venue.

Mr Chandra, 59, said he preferred the voting system conducted this year.

He said it was smooth process for him, with election officials at the venue standing up front to guide the voters as they turned up.

“This shows how people were well educated on the voting process building up this day,” Mr Chandra said.

The resident of Namara is among the 1722 voters registered to vote at the Labasa College Polling Venue.
