LONG queues of voters had already lined the polling stations in Savusavu from as early as 6.30am today.

Voter Ali Hussein said he made his way early to vote because he wanted to spend the rest of the day fishing with friends.

Another voter Shobna Reddy described today as an exciting and important day.

Voters are still coming in from nearby villages to cast their vote at the polling station at Savusavu Secondary School.
