FIJI’S Ministry of Agriculture launched its Costed Operational Plan last night.

The plan provides a clear picture of tasks, costs, and responsibilities in line with the ministry’s strategies, goals, and objectives.

Minister for Agriculture Inia Seruiratu said the plan ensured a standard framework to measure and monitor implementation of programs.

“In improving processes and systems in place, the ministry will ensure an efficient, effective, and high-quality service delivery to our customers,” Mr Seruiratu said.

With the release of this plan, Mr Seruiratu also reminded ministry officials on the importance of having such documents to guide implementation.

“Please ensure that all planned activities are conducted in an efficient and effective manner considering the special needs of our stakeholders, especially farmers.”
