51 Fijians to graduate with Aussie-standard qualifications

FIFTY-one men and women will receive Australian-standard qualifications at the Australia Pacific Training Coalition annual graduation ceremony for the Western Division at the Novotel Nadi today.

Director of the Fiji Higher Education Commission Linda Aumua will deliver the keynote address at the event.

APTC says the graduands will graduate with Australian-standard qualifications in 12 programs – applied fashion design and technology, carpentry, commercial cookery, electro-technology electrician, fabrication trade, mechanical trade (diesel fitting), machining, hospitality, individual support, light vehicle mechanical technology, plumbing, and wall and floor tiling.

The biggest cohort of 18 students to graduate during the ceremony is from the Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade (Machining) program.

This group includes 14 employees of Fiji Water Ltd.
