Free WiFi access at Sigatoka

THE public especially Sigatoka residents can now have access to free WiFi internet after the Acting Prime Minister and Attorney-General Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum launched the Sigatoka Wifi zone today (September 15).

The WiFi hotspot is expected to provide high level of internet speed.

The free WiFi hotspot initiative was announced in the 2018-2019 National Budget with a $40 million allocation for increased speed in public WiFi hot spots in Fiji.

Meanwhile Mr Sayed-Khaiyum paid a surprise visit to the Sigatoka market.

While at the launch of the the Wifi zone for the town and Mr Sayed-Khaiyum took the opportunity to meet with the local Nadroga/Navosa community who were in town.
