MEMBERS of the public have been advised of a second coat sealing on Princes Road from Cunningham intersection to Khalsa intersection from tomorrow Sunday, May 27, 2018.

According to a statement issued by the Fiji Roads Authority, those additional sealing works were essential in ensuring the recently constructed pavements were waterproofed to protect the investment under the ever-increasing traffic loadings experienced in Suva.

FRA general manager Network Operations and Maintenance Aram Goes said works would start from 7am from the Cunningham end and would continue towards Khalsa intersection with sealing expected to be completed before 5pm.

“Although these works do not restrict accessibility, motorists are requested to factor in extra travel time in their journey, adhere to the speed limits and observe all road signs,” Mr Goes said.

He said full traffic management would be present on-site to guide motorists safely through the site.
